I hired Eric to lead the company´s sourcing activities. It was a decentralized structure, and the mandate was to centralize sourcing activities of APIs for 5 manufacturing plants across Asia, Europe, and the US. He quickly took leadership and transformed individual procurement structures in the different sites and established a centralized team focusing on costs improvements, synergies, and 2nd source opportunities. In parallel he supported all R&D sourcing activities of the various company’s development hubs enabling the organization to launch first-to-file generics by identifying competitive and sustainable API suppliers.

Our company was actively working on several product acquisitions when I brought Eric on board. He managed three different pre and post-acquisition projects, each of them with a different focus. While facing various challenges, he found ways and paths to work through them and keep the project on track. His experience and knowledge in the area of pharmaceutical operations combined with his positive attitude and forward-thinking abilities were key to successful project execution. His collaborative style helped guide the teams through the different phases of an acquisition, from due diligence to final implementation.
